Job Description

Accumulus is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer. This will be a key role within the Security Solutions Architecture team, reporting directly to the Lead DevSecOps Engineer.

As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in integrating security into every phase of our software development and operational processes. Your work will directly contribute to the secure delivery of our product offerings, ensuring that security best practices are embedded from code to cloud. This position is perfect for a proactive and skilled engineer passionate about automating security and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Embed security controls and best practices into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring the secure development and deployment of software.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to automate security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA) and compliance scanning. Utilize infrastructure as code (IaC) to manage and provision resources securely.
  • Complete security risk assessments on development features and working with development teams to incorporate security requirements.
  • Complete security reviews of development features to ensure that security requirements have been satisfied.
  • Identify, analyze, and remediate vulnerabilities in software and infrastructure. Work closely with development teams to address security issues in early development stages.
  • Participate in the incident response process, including analysis, and remediation of security incidents. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture.
  • Participate as security subject matter expert (SME) for multiple project teams.
  • Proficient in at least one coding language (Python, Ruby, Java or similar).
  • Experience working in Agile development with experience in technologies such as Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar).
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of security hardening guidelines.
  • Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to foster a culture of security awareness. Advocate for security best practices and educate team members on security-centric methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Relevant industry recognized information security certifications
  • Demonstrable experience in a DevSecOps role, with a strong background in security as it relates to cloud computing, SaaS environments, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible)
  • At least 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of security standards and compliance frameworks relevant to the SaaS industry
  • Experience implementing and operating security scanning and vulnerability management tools

Job Description

Reporting to the Principal Security Architect, this role is essential in implementing and maintaining the security measures to safeguard our technology infrastructure against potential threats. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in information security principles, be detail-oriented, and possess a strong technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and apply comprehensive security hardening standards for Microsoft Azure cloud services, third-party SaaS applications, operating systems, databases, networks, and applications to protect against vulnerabilities and enhance our security posture.
  • Conduct configuration assessments to identify misconfigurations within the technology stack, working closely with relevant teams for timely remediation.
  • Assist in security risk assessments, audits, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to hardening standards and security best practices.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of hardening procedures, standards, and security configurations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the successful resolution of product issues identified by field organizations both during development and post-production.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, providing updates on project status, gathering feedback, and addressing concerns. Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment and transparency.

Accumulus is seeking an Security Assurance Governance Manager. This will be a key role within the Security Assurance Team, reporting directly to the Director of Security Assurance.

The Security Assurance Governance Manager is responsible for overseeing the Governance Security Assurance Team and ensuring security efforts comply with business goals and regulations, while also collaborating with stakeholders to guarantee responsibility, clarity, and efficient decision-making for security governance initiatives. Job Description

Accumulus is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to help develop our backend services and infrastructure. The Senior Engineer - Back End will drive efforts to develop secure REST services and related data infrastructure to deliver Accumulus’s secure collaboration and analytics platform. As a senior developer, you will develop and present detailed designs for critical requirements and participate in their development. You will develop key components of our system, and mentor/lead less experienced developers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multiple teams to help design, interpret, and scope requirements, with focus on technical approach, time-to-market  and feasibility
  • Develop software services to meet the requirements of the Accumulus platform
  • Participate, and often lead, design and code reviews and feature demonstrations
  • Provide expertise in delivery of cloud services, especially for Microsoft Azure
  • Stay current with leading technologies that can help optimally deliver the Accumulus platform
  • Develop unit tests and test automation and support acceptance testing
  • Deliver features as commitments dictate, inline with our security and coding standards and best practices

Qualifications

  • 4+ years developing services for Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products
  • BS in CompSci or related technical degree, MS preferred

  • Expert developing microservice architectures, CI/CD patterns & practices, data architecture & engineering, and cloud infrastructure management

Job Description

Accumulus is seeking a Senior Engineer - Front End for the development of our front end UI and services. You will participate in the development of the Accumulus platform and help scope development efforts and technical approach for optimal execution speed. As a senior developer, you will participate in the creation of detailed designs for critical requirements and participate in their development directly by developing key components of our system directly and providing guidance to other developers and functional teams as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Engineers to help design, interpret, and scope requirements, with a focus on technical approach, time-to-market, and feasibility
  • Develop web applications to meet the requirements of the Accumulus platform using React.js and Typescript, along with GraphQL (Apollo)
  • Build reusable components using React.js that can be shared across parts of the application
  • Assist in the development of plans, wireframes, and delivery schedules for the UI
  • Participate in design and code reviews, as well as research spikes and prototyping for new technologies and solutions
  • Contribute within and occasionally lead feature teams and feature development while serving as a technical lead for engineers and product managers

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience collaborating with software engineers at all experience levels
  • Experience deploying with modern CI/CD tools: Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab
  • A plus: past experience in regulated environments: GxP Gamp 5,  FDA Title 21 CFR Part 11, FedRAMP,  ISO27001/27017/27018/27701 and/or SOC 2
