Accumulus is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer. This will be a key role within the Security Solutions Architecture team, reporting directly to the Lead DevSecOps Engineer.

As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in integrating security into every phase of our software development and operational processes. Your work will directly contribute to the secure delivery of our product offerings, ensuring that security best practices are embedded from code to cloud. This position is perfect for a proactive and skilled engineer passionate about automating security and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Embed security controls and best practices into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring the secure development and deployment of software.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to automate security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA) and compliance scanning. Utilize infrastructure as code (IaC) to manage and provision resources securely.
• Complete security risk assessments on development features and working with development teams to incorporate security requirements.
• Complete security reviews of development features to ensure that security requirements have been satisfied.
• Identify, analyze, and remediate vulnerabilities in software and infrastructure. Work closely with development teams to address security issues in early development stages.
• Participate in the incident response process, including analysis, and remediation of security incidents. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture.
• Participate as security subject matter expert (SME) for multiple project teams.
• Proficient in at least one coding language (Python, Ruby, Java or similar).
• Experience working in Agile development with experience in technologies such as Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar).
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations.
• Contribute to the development and enforcement of security hardening guidelines.
• Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to foster a culture of security awareness. Advocate for security best practices and educate team members on security-centric methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Relevant industry recognized information security certifications
• Demonstrable experience in a DevSecOps role, with a strong background in security as it relates to cloud computing, SaaS environments, and CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible)
• At least 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of security standards and compliance frameworks relevant to the SaaS industry
• Experience implementing and operating security scanning and vulnerability management tools

Job Description

Reporting to the Principal Security Architect, this role is essential in implementing and maintaining the security measures to safeguard our technology infrastructure against potential threats. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in information security principles, be detail-oriented, and possess a strong technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Establish and apply comprehensive security hardening standards for Microsoft Azure cloud services, third-party SaaS applications, operating systems, databases, networks, and applications to protect against vulnerabilities and enhance our security posture.
• Conduct configuration assessments to identify misconfigurations within the technology stack, working closely with relevant teams for timely remediation.
• Assist in security risk assessments, audits, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to hardening standards and security best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of hardening procedures, standards, and security configurations.
• Work collaboratively with IT, DevOps, and software engineering teams to integrate security practices into the development and operational processes.
• Stay informed about the latest security threats, technologies, and best practices to suggest improvements to hardening standards and procedures.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of security training programs to increase security awareness across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Security industry relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CSSP, GSEC, GCSA)
• At least 2 years of experience in information security, specifically in implementing security controls and hardening technologies.
• At least 3 years of experience in Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS Benchmarks) and understanding of the current threat landscape.
• Experience creating secure templates for IaC tools like Terraform, ansible, and etc.

This role is ideal for a motivated individual with 2-3 years of product management experience who is eager to take on responsibilities and learn in a fast-paced startup environment. This role requires understanding of or ability to learn to understand complex software solutions, strong leadership skills, and a passion for innovation and driving product excellence. 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, translating customer needs into actionable plans for the development team. Work closely with engineering, design, and other teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet customer expectations.
• Assist in the development and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and market opportunities. Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market research, and business objectives. Collaborate with the Product team to provide frequent communication and ensure alignment and transparency throughout the organization. 
• Partner with UX designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience. Conduct user research, gather feedback, and iterate on product features to continuously ensure what we plan to develop meets user needs, accomplishes the jobs to be done, and aligns with company strategy.

• Stay informed about regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to our target markets. Ensure that our platform meets all necessary compliance standards and certifications, working closely with legal, regulatory, security and quality teams. 
• Ensure the successful resolution of product issues identified by field organizations both during development and post-production.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, providing updates on project status, gathering feedback, and addressing concerns. Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment and transparency.

Accumulus is seeking an Security Assurance Governance Manager. This will be a key role within the Security Assurance Team, reporting directly to the Director of Security Assurance.

The Security Assurance Governance Manager is responsible for overseeing the Governance Security Assurance Team and ensuring security efforts comply with business goals and regulations, while also collaborating with stakeholders to guarantee responsibility, clarity, and efficient decision-making for security governance initiatives. Starting day one, you will have the unique opportunity to support the growth of Accumulus Synergy through creating and enforcing policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure cybersecurity aligns with business objectives and regulations, managing the Unified Compliance Matrix (UCM), overseeing security training and awareness programs, monitoring external regulatory changes, and maintaining documents related to Security Governance programs. 

Responsibilities

• Lead the Governance Security Assurance Team (FTE and Contract) 
• Oversee the governance framework to ensure that security efforts align with business objectives and regulatory requirements. 
• Coordinates with stakeholders to ensure accountability, transparency, and effective decision-making regarding security governance initiatives.
• Develops policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure that cybersecurity efforts align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Maintains Unified Compliance Matrix (UCM) to ensure controls align with security strategy, support business objectives, and are consistent with applicable laws and regulations
• Owns Security training and awareness programs
• Monitor external regulatory, security and compliance landscapes and proactively inform management of significant changes
• Maintains handbook pages, policies, standards, procedures and runbooks related to Security Governance programs

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience defining and shaping Security Governance and technical writing programs for regulated markets
• Demonstrated experience with security control frameworks such as:  SOC 2, ISO, NIST, COSO, COBIT, etc.

Job Description

Accumulus is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to help develop our backend services and infrastructure. The Senior Engineer - Back End will drive efforts to develop secure REST services and related data infrastructure to deliver Accumulus’s secure collaboration and analytics platform. As a senior developer, you will develop and present detailed designs for critical requirements and participate in their development. You will develop key components of our system, and mentor/lead less experienced developers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multiple teams to help design, interpret, and scope requirements, with focus on technical approach, time-to-market  and feasibility
• Develop software services to meet the requirements of the Accumulus platform
• Participate, and often lead, design and code reviews and feature demonstrations
• Provide expertise in delivery of cloud services, especially for Microsoft Azure
• Stay current with leading technologies that can help optimally deliver the Accumulus platform
• Develop unit tests and test automation and support acceptance testing
• Deliver features as commitments dictate, inline with our security and coding standards and best practices
• Participate in the on-call rotation as needed

Qualifications

• BS in CompSci or related technical degree, MS preferred
• Expert in developing services with Kotlin and/or Java, with at least 5+ years of experience with either or both of these languages

• Expert developing microservice architectures, CI/CD patterns & practices, data architecture & engineering, and cloud infrastructure management
• Cloud architectures, especially Microsoft Azure, and Cloud-First development practices

Accumulus is seeking a Senior Engineer - Front End for the development of our front end UI and services. You will participate in the development of the Accumulus platform and help scope development efforts and technical approach for optimal execution speed. As a senior developer, you will participate in the creation of detailed designs for critical requirements and participate in their development directly by developing key components of our system directly and providing guidance to other developers and functional teams as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Engineers to help design, interpret, and scope requirements, with a focus on technical approach, time-to-market, and feasibility
• Develop web applications to meet the requirements of the Accumulus platform using React.js and Typescript, along with GraphQL (Apollo)
• Build reusable components using React.js that can be shared across parts of the application
• Assist in the development of plans, wireframes, and delivery schedules for the UI
• Participate in design and code reviews, as well as research spikes and prototyping for new technologies and solutions
• Contribute within and occasionally lead feature teams and feature development while serving as a technical lead for engineers and product managers
• Work with other functional teams, such as the backend and QA team, to establish data contracts and methods to work in parallel for development optimization
• Demo features that are completed, or hitting significant progress milestones, along with proof of concepts and development breakthroughs
• Stay current with leading technologies that can help optimally deliver the Accumulus platform
• Develop unit tests and test automation and support acceptance testing

• Competent implementing secure routing/workflows
• Experience with the web application development ecosystem - Vite development environment, libraries like Lodash, Immutable, and build tools like WebPack, Parcel, Babel
• Experience with integrating REST APIs and informing their development, along with writing and maintaining GraphQL resolvers
• Expert in web authorization and authentication, JSON Web Tokens, etc.
• Experience with Agile development processes, preferably using Atlassian tools
