Job Description
Accumulus is seeking an Atlassian Administrator. This will be a key role within the Information Technology Team, reporting directly to the Director of IT Operations. As the Atlassian Administrator, you will leverage your expertise to implement technical solutions and provide high-quality support for all aspects of Jira and Confluence. This includes design, implementation, documentation, training, and ongoing support.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, review, and document current functionality to identify areas for improvement.
- Create and manage user permissions for Atlassian tools based on project and team requirements.
- Perform system administration tasks, including data backups and scheduled jobs.
- Test new versions of tools and plug-ins to ensure compatibility.
- Enhance Jira security by setting appropriate access permissions for Jira projects and Confluence spaces.
- Create and maintain Jira filters, dashboards, workflows, fields, and overall administration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop custom templates and workflows (including automation) using Atlassian products (Jira, Service Desk, and Confluence).
- Develop and maintain automation workflows across Atlassian tools, including administrative configuration and customization.
- Communicate and share knowledge effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage multiple responsibilities and meet tight deadlines.
- Research and apply industry-standard methods and best practices.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on how to use Jira and Confluence, including new features and updates.
- Collaborate with business units to translate needs into actionable requirements using best practices.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Jira Administrator, with experience customizing Jira projects with various schemes, complex workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes.
- Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience working with the Atlassian product suite, with specific focus on Jira and Confluence as a Project/Application Administrator.
- Expert-level Atlassian tool administration knowledge on Jira and Confluence.
- Ability to write custom JQL (Jira Query Language).
- Ability to construct custom dashboards using various filter types in Jira.
- Ability to construct Confluence pages and integrate Jira projects with Confluence pages.
- Experience in performing Atlassian installations, migrations, and plugin installations.
- Strong problem investigation and diagnosis skills.
- Experience creating and updating business requirements.
- Excellent written, oral, and meeting communication skills.

Customer Support Engineer

Job Description
Accumulus is seeking a Customer Support Engineer. This will be a key role within the Customer Support Team, reporting directly to the Director of Customer Support.
Starting day one, you will have the unique opportunity to support the growth of Accumulus Synergy through solving complex technical challenges, developing innovative solutions, and providing expert-level support to ensure platform reliability and optimal user experience for our pioneering regulatory data exchange platform.
Responsibilities
- Investigates and resolves escalated support cases from Tier 1, requiring advanced troubleshooting
- Develops and maintains technical documentation for complex troubleshooting procedures
- Collaborates with development teams to confirm bug reports and provide reproduction steps
- Configures workflows and automation rules within HelpDesk managed tools
- Conducts root cause analysis for recurring issues and proposes permanent solutions
- Mentors Tier 1 analysts on technical skills and troubleshooting methodologies
- Participates in the on-call rotation for critical issues outside business hours
- Works closely with the Director of Customer Support to spearhead new technical initiatives in order to automate processes and make platform data observable in existing DevOps managed tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in technical support, software engineering, or similar technical role
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues
- Experience with ticketing systems, workflow automation, and technical documentation
- Proficient in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, PowerShell)
- Knowledge of APIs, web services, and modern cloud-based applications
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to various audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with DevOps tools and observability platforms
- Preferred:
- Experience with regulatory or life sciences software applications
- Familiarity with identity management systems like OKTA
- Knowledge of SaaS platform architectures and implementation
